For Disney's current 3 o'clock parade, it's safe to grab a spot along the parade route roughly 30 minutes before this 12 minute show. Like most parades in Disney, any up close spot along the route provides a nice experience. However, some lands provide just the right backdrop for the various parade themes. So, any spot is fine to watch, but there is something special about seeing the dragon as it passes in front of Cinderella Castle.
This is among my favorite of all Disney afternoon parades throughout the years because it provides nothing less than a visual feast for those hungry for more of their beloved characters. In true Disney fashion, the procession of floats does not have your traditional look and feel. In fact, it provides a flare of design that is truly worthy of its name. There is almost a steampunk feel to many of the floats while others appear like floating infographics with musical accompaniment.
